The Bonarda is a wine of the Oltrepo Pavese produced from the Croatina grape. Bright ruby red in colour with violet reflexes, has a fine bouquet with notes of cherry and fruits of the forest. On the palate it is amiable, and of a good persistence, with a pleasant taste of tannin. It goes well with typical cold cuts such as coppa, pancetta and lardo, crostini with truffle and meat, boiled meats, cotechino, zampone. Great to prepare a delicious risotto with salami paste and green beans of the eye. Ideal also for the first dry and meat-filled ravioli in broth. Interesting pairing with seafood dishes such as caciucco.
