The company was founded in 1958 by Enzo Belli, who grew up with the teachings of his grandfather and “master baker” Aristide, decides to take advantage of his great knowledge of traditional pastry of tuscany and of the working of the yeast to give life to a small workshop of pastry. The idea proves successful from the beginning and the Biscottificio Belli succeeds, year after year, to develop its own market beyond the confines of Tuscany, becoming one of the most important companies in the sector. The philosophy behind this success is simple but effective: carefully choose the best raw materials, carefully follow the traditional recipes, in an environment that is safe and hygienically healthy; and, finally, to treat with the maximum attention to the needs of the customer and the final consumer as well as those of each individual product. It is the same philosophy that is followed even today by his wife Carla and their children Barbara and John, who continue the work begun by the founder. Currently, the Biscottificio Belli work in a factory of 4000 square meters in Calenzano (Florence), and makes use of production technologies more and more advanced. Its products are exported to more than 20 different countries and the constant search for quality has led the company to achieve important certifications.
