Cantuccini biscuits are made with almonds, typical of Tuscany and by the elongated shape. Particular is their double cooked, first the loaf whole, then cut it diagonally and passed through in the oven to toast and brown on the surface. They are prepared with simple ingredients and with 25% almonds, not roasted or blanched, as required by the original recipe. Great to enjoy with the Vin Santo tuscan, but also with a cup of hot chocolate. May accompany tea and herbal teas at breakfast and snack.
